The 2023 Ford Super Duty Will Officially Debut This Fall

The most noticeable change for the 2023 model year is a completely new front end. The new grille is much larger and more aggressive looking, flanked by LED headlights. The whole front end looks much more muscular, befitting of a truck that’s known for its towing and hauling capabilities.

Under the hood, there are two engine choices: a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 or a 7.3-liter gas V8. Both engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine is said to produce 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, while the gas engine makes 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

There are also a number of new features and technologies for the 2023 Super Duty. Perhaps most notably, there’s a new Pro Power Onboard generator that can provide up to 7.2 kilowatts of power for tools and other equipment. There’s also an available 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is the largest ever offered in a Ford vehicle.

As expected, the 2023 Super Duty is capable of some serious towing and hauling. When properly equipped, the truck can tow up to 37,000 pounds and haul up to 7,850 pounds.
