The C8 Corvette Z06 is coming, and today we get our first visual peak as to the design direction of the next Z06. Heavily inspired by the C8.R, the Z06 will be powered by a flat-plane-crank, twin-turbo, dual-overhead-cam V-8 – with a rumored 800+ horsepower. One has to wonder, if the Z06 will put down these kind of numbers, what will the C8 ZR1 do?
Even if the C8 Z06 comes in at the rumored $120,000 price point, it will still be a steal compared to the competition – as the Z06 has always been a high performance value compared to it’s competitors.
