2020 Shelby GT500 makes it’s 755-horsepower debut at the Detroit Auto Show, will go on sale this Fall

Ford has finally announced revealed the long-awaited 2020 GT500 today, and it has 755 horsepower. The long awaited snake made it’s first public appearance today at the Detroit Auto Show.

The high-powered snake will be powered by a 755 horsepower, supercharged 5.2l V8, with a traditional cross-plane crankshaft. The other big news is the announcement of a 7-speed DCT transmission, with no mention of a manual transmission at all, for the first time in the history of the Ford Mustang.
